New Menu & Festive Winter Vibes at Lucy's Pizzeria Bury St Edmunds

Tasty new dishes, cosy evenings and plenty happening in the village this autumn and winter.

We’ve had an amazing summer at Lucy’s Pizzeria this year and as the darker evenings set in, we’re finding ourselves and our customers craving something a little more comforting. We've been busy making a few changes here at Lucy's, both in the kitchen and around the restaurant, as we get ready for the winter months. We've welcomed some new faces to the team, introduced a few new dishes as we head towards Christmas.

Some New Additions to the Menu

We've given our menu a bit of a refresh, keeping plenty of the favourites while introducing some new dishes that we think you'll love.

To start, we've added crispy mac and cheese bites with our homemade chilli dip. Our calamari, montanarine and burrata are all staying put, so there's no need to worry if you've already found your favourite.

Our pasta menu has had a little more attention, with all our pasta made using homemade dough. To sit alongside our popular carbonara, we have a delicious Italian sausage and courgette pasta, and a king prawn puttanesca that's particularly good for a chilly evening.

We've also introduced chicken parmigiana to our mains and something we're rather pleased about on the sides menu: parmesan hash browns with chilli dip. Not particularly Italian at first but definitely something we love and crave in the colder months!

And Of Course, There's Pizza

We're keeping things simple with ten solid pizza options, from the classics to a few combinations with a little more going on.

The new No.8 is a mozzarella, mortadella, burrata, pesto and pistachio pizza is already a team favourite. For those who like a bit of heat, there's spicy pepperoni with jalapeños and 'nduja, while our marinara with anchovies, capers and olives is full of those punchy Italian flavours we love. We'll still be running weekly specials too, so there's always something different to look out for!

And don't forget dessert. Cannoli is back on the menu, alongside our dolci selection and a super indulgent sweet pizza made with our signature pizza dough smothered in Italian chocolate spread. Yum.

For our younger guests, we've also got a children's menu at £10, including a drink, a choice of pizza or pasta and ice cream.

Inside The Pizzeria

We're making a few changes inside the restaurant as the seasons turn, creating a cosy little Italian corner in the village to escape the cold.

We're also expanding our coffee and cocktail offering, so there's more reason to pop in, even if you're not planning a full meal. Coffee and something sweet, a few cocktails with friends or a relaxed dinner with the family.

We've recently welcomed a few new members to the Lucy's team too, and it's been lovely seeing everything come together as we head into a busy few months.

Parties, Festive Gatherings & What's Coming Up

We've got plenty happening before the year is out, including our October karaoke night and the return of festive celebrations.

If you're thinking about getting friends, family or colleagues together for Christmas, we'd love to host you. One thing we really enjoy at Lucy's is being able to make group bookings a little more personal. We can tailor menus to suit your occasion, from big Italian buffets and pizza parties to special cocktails, Italian desserts, cakes and baked treats.
